Founders Profile

Mohamed Khalifa is an investment professional bringing more than 12 years of experience in the finance and investment field. He started his career in corporate banking with prominent international banks then moved to the investment banking field with one of the key players in the region where he contributed to key M&A and IPO transactions across industrial and financial sectors in Egypt, KSA, UAE and Lebanon. After that he co-founded the Egyptian Subsidiary of an Abu Dhabi-based Investment Co, where he led some key real estate and hospitality investments for the group in Egypt in addition to the restructuring of some of the Group’s assets in US and Europe.

Over the last 5 years, Khalifa has been leading some key restructuring, investment ventures and debt raising transactions in the international fashion arena across Portugal, UK, Italy, China and currently serving as a board member of one of the key British Fashion companies with turnover of GBP 100 mil and 15% market share in its field and also serves as a board member of one of the leading prestigious men’s fashion company’s in Italy with a turnover in excess of EUR 100 mil.

Khalifa received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Cairo University, and his corporate lending education from Fitch Ratings, while he is also a CFA charter holder. Khalifa served as a board member and Treasurer of the CFA society in Egypt for 2 years and also served as a part-time instructor at the American University in Cairo for the CFA Program for 5 years.
