Mission

Dolphinus is working with its business partners of Gas producers and traders in Europe, US and the region, to develop a diversified reliable portfolio of Gas resources for the coming 20 years intending to fuel the upcoming economic growth and supply the key industrial players in Egypt.

We believe that Egypt is the key player in the region with its market size, very valuable infrastructure for gas transmission and LNG which can benefit from the several discoveries in the region and turn Egypt into a world class regional Gas Hub.

In the local market and building on the recent government energy reforms; Dolphinus is committed to work within the regulatory and technical framework set by the Egyptian Government aiming for trading and importing Gas. Dolphinus view is to become a reliable and stable supplier of Gas to the major Industrial Gas distributors and consumers in Egypt.

In our view the availability of sustainable imported gas quantities in addition to the significant domestic discoveries in Egypt will enable and support the growth of a lot of industrial players and will attract significant other investments to this growing market that we are aiming to serve.

Dolphinus has successfully signed earlier last year a GSPA with Tamar Partners to import at least 5 BCM. On top of that, recently it was publicly announced that it signed a Letter of Intent with Leviathan Partners to import a quantity of up to 4 BCM annually for a contract period between 10 and 15 years. Other sources and gas transactions including LNG have been also agreed with key players namely AOT trading.

Egypt is moving towards being the key economic and industrial center for the region and Dolphinus intends to be one of the key enablers of that by fueling the needed energy for growth.

Dolphinus remains actively looking for other investment opportunities in this business arena capitalizing on its technical experience, deep knowledge of the energy sector and key players in Egypt. Dolphinus was co-founded by prominent Egyptian entrepreneurs namely Dr. Alaa Arafa, Eng. Khaled Abu Bakr and Mohamed Khalifa.
